animal image search is super proud to have universal studios florida’s “ocean sunbirds” as our first music release. we were highly impressed by this seattle duo's self-titled debut ep and definitely wanted to hear more...a few months later we got what is to be the first of many big steps forward from these guys. a million times more focused and lovingly arranged than anyone else with variants of "ocean, "sun", or "birds" as titles, not a one take = one album situation here. the album begins and ends in the middle of the urban rainforest and makes frequent stops at public pools and sno-cone stands along the way. guests blind man’s colour, alaskas, and big spider’s back join along the way on vocals, highly upping the stuck in your head factor. youd probably guess these sounds came from a little south of seattle but about the same longitude.. j-carded with art designed by the band in an edition of 100. cdr version available from little fury things, sample tracks here at their myspace.
