love letters - girl next door – epicene sound systems - cass - 5$
This is a husband and wife duo that also runs the loveless tapes label. More total chop and slop tape fuckery for the modern musique-concrete cannon mixed with some serious masonna like fast paced pedal aktion. This is the sound of cassette decks everywhere exploding, this is the sound of buildings collapsing, this is the sound of love... brutal and violent. Two sidelong tracks that never let up... but this is no single tone wall of nothing... this is fast paced face shredding tape mutilation. a total killer
pro printed cover on gloss paper. ltd to 30.

teeth collection / sports split - epicene sound systems – cass - 5$ sold out
This is some seriously grim, grim shit! Sports bring it black vocals, best use of a piano I've heard in a long time (doesn't anyone else realize the potintial of the inside of the piano?) , some sorta of tea kettle hiss or harsh wind billowing in the background. This has a very electro-acoustic feel to it all, a blackened electro-acoustic feel that is.
The Teeth side is a live recording from inside the walls of the Mckabee in Cincinnati Ohio from the 2006 ART DAMAGE "Brutal Damage Fest". Hugh rooms with curved ceilings, the greatest natural reverb ever! By far my favorite place to play on the planet. Metal on metal scrapings, coils, perparation devices, delays. blissed out factory drones.
black and white cover on ivory paper. ltd to 50.

1 thousand holy shards - untitled - epicene sound systems – cass - 5$ sold out
This four peice collective from Atlanta somehow straddles the fence of weird dark folk and industrial factory clunk. Sometimes they get into songs, and i don't mean "almost get into songs", i mean full on songs, vocals, lyrics, guitar parts, the whole deal. While other times they flow seemlessly from the dark side of free folk to some strange ambient factory. this is all together a very mystertious recording.
Cover on copper paper. Ltd to 30.

plasmic formations - calm before the storm - epicene sound systems – cass - 5$ sold out
Finally the return of the troubador. 3 new psychedelic brain melters. The simple set up of 1 or 2 snyths and minimal electronics creates these crushingly dense wave of drones, pulses, hums, bleeps, and washouts. the 2nd track has enough low end to produce an unwanted bowel movement. This is the first Plasmic release in over 2 years.
