khaki blazer - solid spit - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - 3" cdr - 5$

finally seeing the light of day after this long lost tape recently resurfaced…pat from moth cock busts us out some slices of weirdo ????????.. which is precisely this dudes specialty: “I don’t know why my artwork always has guys in their underwear on it…?”..yeah, me neither dude…

w

jerk - helicopter on glass - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - 3" cdr - 5$

4 all too short tracks from this veteran Cleveland “noise rock” troup… David Russell (collapsed arc, shadow self, relentless corpse)+ Adrian Bertolone (KEN REI) + Mike Dobrinic (HIS COUCH) are back in action yet again one last time…for one of which will certainly be several “posthumous” releases-from a band that has reunited, broken up, and played “farewell gigs” more times than I have had girlfriends….

g

spacedog - pine mayhem - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - 3" cdr - 5$

Live set from Amanda Roseanne Howland Davidson (Cougar Mellencamp) from DEEJFEST 3 last summer…..solo gtr through temple fugate ’s pedal chain…..amanda playing with a delay pedal???…TRULY UNHEARD OF…she gives me art for it…total asymmetrical parallelogram style ….somehow it totally works tho…on shiny gold cardstock… Look for killer tape on wagon soon + weirdo cdr from a soundesgign recording out now

s

fluxmonkey - sorry jack - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - cass - 6$

There is seriously no way I could do a better description of this dude than the one witchbeam already made for the fluxmonkey temple of pei release….all I can really say is that apparently bob was “excited about this tape” + he is a very modest guy ....great homebuilt smart guy technology from the man the myth the legend himself…I am definitely proud to add this to the roster of releases under my belt

c

dr. quinn medicine woman - cosby stills nash nash nash and young - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - cdr - 7$

…No that’s not a killer new lawfirm advertising on some local late night TV channel but rather the lowlight of the career of this struggling musician... What started as some cruel joke at Voice of the Valley last year ended up as one of the worst concept albums of all time…well, maybe its just the worst concept for an album COVER of all time….uh, I hope nate young thinks its funny??? Printed on various colored cardstocks + housed in a cd spider hub.

r

dr. quinn medicine woman - red flags - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - cdr - 7$

This collection contains every “alternablast” from the first few balloony tunes tapes and many old school blasts that never found their way onto anything yet….31 tracks 40+minutes…insert with all the ridiculous track titles included…features such hit songs as “soccer dilly” “birth control pills” “coincidencehenge” “pocket full of kryptonite” and “skullface in my crunchberry”… cardstock with a cd "spider" hub in a resealable bag. andrew kirschner - i drank the wine - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - 3" cdr - 5$

t

christopher riggs - you’re the most incredible person I ever met - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - 3" cdr - 5$

Now this guy is one of my favorites making jams these days. You gotta love someone who just takes an instrument and just comes at it from a total different angle-riggs has that total ‘man from beyond’ style. Riggs is also the first non “Clevelander” to participate in the biz card series, although he was in Oberlin, OH for a while-too bad I didn’t catch him around more often when he was in town-although I have had the pleasure of catching him on tour several times and always make sure to grab some merch from him….dude is destined for greatness, no doubt about that one.

e

bbob and j guy - regeneration - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - cdr - 7$

WOAH THIS ONE IS JUST TOO INTENSE.  4 recordings from live gigs the past six months or so…The duo of FluxmonkeyBbob, the Cleveland god of modular synths and home built electronics and J Guy Laughlin Jr.(Dead Peasant Insurance/Tanked/Puffy Areolas/Etc) on percussion and electronics is definitely one of the most diverse and talented duo projects in cleveland going today…and always great to see live.  Its a good thing people will finally get to hear what these guys are doing.  Between the two of them, these guys have way too small of a discography under their belt. That’s gonna change.

e

pedalphile - new world order - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - cdr - 7$

Recently resurfaced mysterious lost murky and heavy jams from 2007 Re-edited for consumption.  I thought this was my mysterious lost Mu tron bi phase album , but it turns  out to be something else but in a similar vein-albeit a bit darker, from around the same time… this one kinda sounds like commanding a  robot army while in the middle of a dust storm of futuristic debris.  Or something…

glacial 23 - diy vol 1: signal intercept  - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - cass - 7$

This is a collection of tracks from local tech-wiz, Sam Harmon, who stays busy weekly hosting the Press The Button radio show but has been severely in need of releasing some new material for several years now.  I just know this guy is amassing quite a collection of toys and boxes (and ‘silver things’)…he is second only to fluxmonkey in terms of local  ‘home builders’ (sorry Ted Flynn) –and I know his skills go way beyond bbobs in certain areas...   A dozen weird ‘built and fixed’ gear of synths and sequencers are listed in the liner notes….Tons of beats and crunchy bloops…definitely unlike anything that anyone has been doing these days…one side long A side and 5 shorter tracks on the B side.  Check out his site at GlacialCommunications.com

ebnc - flogging a dead format - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - cass - 7$

wild electronic compositions of feedback, field recordings, synth, and god knows what. 3 tracks on side one with haunted space ship creeper,a bubbly creepy crawly panning monster jam and some music box bedtime bell jam(?!)with the super sparse electronics long guy on the b side. hailing from asheville, north carolina his former projects include ARRATIK, THE FORMER YUGOSLAVIA and THE SYNTAX OF THINGS. very rarely does this man seem to put out recordings..but when he does-they are always superb.

i miss thursday club - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - cass - 7$

first recording in quite some time for thursday club. the last four recordings before bryan's departure to china last summer(parts 105-108). includes the 'farewell' show. by far the most minimal and elegant release. sparse ass keyboard drones meet homemade synth boxes and heavily processed filters. first cassette release in 7 years. crazyfull color cover of some b-rate circus genie flyer ive been holding on to for 5 years pasted over some marker scribble done by ms delina russell of outer space fame before her recent departure to chicago

e

david russell - plastic delirium - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - 3" cdr - 5$

Spastic manic HEAVY insane jams care of this ex-Clevelander currently found wreaking havoc on the Chicago scene…A Soundesign Recording head honcho…the man’s artwork is always pristine and beautiful… but his music sounds as if the Incredible Hulk just derailed a FUCKING TRAIN
-everybody

e

skin graft - clinic - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - 3" cdr - 5$

6 way too short tracks from some WASTED/CREEPY/HEAVY/ and as always, PISSED OFF home recording sessions…need I say more??? Ain’t nothing pretty about any of it, man…like aliens drilling you in the skull with fancy technology or something
-everybody

e

ben billington - embers - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - 3" cdr - 5$

Some solo synth jams showcasing some non-percussion skills from Chicagoan/ Cleveland extended family transplant man of Applebees / ratatosk / tiger hatchery/ druids of huge fame.  Getting in the zone, flying across the planet, scrolling over earth… but waaay too close to the surface, flight of the navigator style or maybe like when you get the airship in final fantasy III on Super Nintendo.

e

corpsepimper - 800 degree 80s synths - everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - 3" cdr - 5$

Corpsepimper is the solo project of doug from moth cock, one of my favorite bands going these days.  Here he presents some wild blown out double (free) synth action in his usual petrifried/stoned manner, hard panned for yr pleasure.  This one just kinda messes with yr head like you just snorted some moldy dishwasher detergent or something.  Not that I’ve ever done that…Doug???  Chime in here…

e

temple fugate - whats so horrible about being dead forever?- everyone else has a record label so why can't i? - 3" cdr - 5$

The end is near.  Sounds like the soundtrack of revenge taken place in a desolate box moving factory from an employee that just got laid off and snuck back in after dark to fuck the place up. This movie, however has a surprise ending with a man made of crystals and tangerines.  Temple Fugate is the project of local multi-instrumentalist/producer david imburgia, who runs Collapse Encoded and plays in such bands as Assassin Whole Mouth Mouth and Elite Shrooms/Big Guns. One time I jammed with him and some other freak in front of the girls bathroom in the basement of some shitty bars open mic night.
