h

hammer of hathor - field hymns - cass - 6$

Vroom-Psycho takes the analog wave form and bakes it over a cassette fire, toasting and turning, reforging and returning. These five tracks of tape machine loops, sax, guitar and drums explore the gray area between minimalism and provocation. Mark E. Kaylor and Heather Vergotis, under the guise of Hammer of Hathor, have been involved in a number of projects such as Au, CexFucx, Evolutionary Jass Band, Thee Oregon Artificial Limb Co, Rubella , Kinetic Harpoon and many others. An excellent album not for the weak of constitution.
With digital download card.

A lo-fi party waiting to break out! A trio of miscreants and skate freaks from Portland, Oregon and 2/3's of Klezmer band Shicky Gnarowitz, Yes, Father sings about the joys of WiteOut, rollerblading, cocaine, and managerial disrespect. But don't take it from us - have a listen and see how long it takes for you to be waking up with these warped pop songs in your head!

garth steel klippert - music for taxi cabs - field hymns - cass - 7$

This album was recorded over the course of three years by a cab driver living in a San Francisco office building. Rife with audio collage, dirty saxophone, cheap organ and a dash of lunacy, Music For Taxicabs is truly a lost legend.

Now in Portland, Oregon Klippert has since gone on to record and tour with Kelly Stoltz, Sonny Smith, Jolie Holland, Beulah, Miles Kurosky and Old Light. Ten years after its completion, Field Hymns is proud to release Music for Taxicabs.

Also includes immediate download of 8 track album in your choice of 320k mp3, FLAC, or just about any other format you could possibly desire.
