sword of the ancient - head of the tide - tr w/d - cass - 5$

Reminiscent of later era Residents albums such as “ANIMAL LOVERS,” Sword Of the Ancient, with their latest release “Head Of The Tide,” create a world where night and day playfully collide in a swirl of sonic shadows, shards of light, and evervescant sound.   Chance and Chaos intermingle with strict song structures to develop the “Balancing Point,” of this recording.  Featuring members of “FlakMAsk, Uke Of Spaces Corners, and Impractical Cockpit.”

“Accompanied by Amy Moon O.S. and a host of other NEO-HICKS, Ukes create wildly interesting tableau recalling early Michael Hurley a bit in terms of pure backwoods falsetto/ stumble madness. “ byron coley

uke of phillips(uke of spaces corners)-peppermint birdhouse tea shanty shack - tr w/d - lp - 10$

Peppermint Birdhouse Tea Shanty Shack is Uke’s second full length release with more true GUTTER COUNTRY originals about food, animals, friends and Fambly.
Electro acoustic guitars are plunked by bumbling fingers to the tune of a shrill yet comforting troubadourish croon, but the real treat of this effort lies in the accompaniment, all played by a rotating cast band. Recorded all analog onto 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch tape.
